Mukti is employing local teachers to serve as tutors for children who attend local schools in the Sunderbans region. The coaching centers have a good student to teacher ratio than the local schools, and therefore allow more individual interaction between student and teacher. The teachers themselves will be trained by experienced teachers from Kolkata and surrounding areas.It is hoped that these tution centers will result in better academic performance in the local schools.

At present there are 66 MSS or Mukti support Schools with 4846 children on yearly basis. Asha for Education came forward and extended their support to 10 new MSS at Dumki, Deulbari, Sonakhali, Madhukhali, Moukhali, Badhukulla, Jaykrishnapur, Herobhanga, Baneshyamnagar, Purbachintamanipur area in South 24 Pgs district.
